Wetland mitigation and stream bank stabilization are becoming a much larger segment of the revegetation industry in the 1990's. In order to be successful, flexible scheduling, having personnel experienced in plant establishment and adequate sources for plant material are essential.This stream bank, disturbed during construction, needed a tough plant to buffer the banks during ice-out. In the photo, dogwood wattles are being installed. |
